We are dentists specializing in proactively preventing disease and restoring function and esthetics. We have been providing dental care to Nashville and Middle Tennessee communities since 1979. We strive to deliver excellence in dentistry and to exceed expectations in every aspect of your care.

Dr. Justin Poff, DDS

Education

Originally from West Memphis Arkansas, Dr. Poff graduated high school from the Arkansas School for Math and Sciences in 2003 and earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2007. He graduated with a D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, TN, in 2011. Since graduation, Dr Poff has continued his pursuit of knowledge in the dental field through various curriculums in Surgical and Cosmetic Dentistry. He was recognized by Spear Education for completing their extensive prosthodontic focused core curriculum on Cosmetic and Rehabilitative Dentistry. He has earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry for his focus in continuing his education and demonstration of his knowledge of the Dental Field.

About Dr. Justin Poff, DDS

After dental school, Dr. Poff and his wife, Dr. Clair Poff, moved to Nashville and have enjoyed middle Tennessee ever since. They have two wonderful children. Outside of the office, Dr. Poff enjoys traveling with his wife and kids, spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and skiing.

Dr. Dale Dunn, DDS

Education

Dr. Dunn graduated from Nashville’s John Overton High School in 1970 before entering the University of Tennessee Knoxville and graduating with his BA degree in 1974. He continued his education by earning a D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, TN, in 1977. After dental school, Dale participated in an internship with the State of Tennessee and then entered private practice in July 1978, here, in the Nashville community.

About Dr. Dale Dunn, DDS

When not practicing, he and his wife, Brenda enjoys a host of various outdoor activities. The Dunns share a love for travel, photography, and horticulture and are avid scuba divers and underwater photographers. Dale is proud to be widely considered a superior outdoor cook, and his family takes even more pride in their service to the local Nashville community.

Dr. Mustafa Alwan, DDS

Associate Dentist

Dr. Alwan has lived in Middle TN since 2009. He attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in science. Then, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Dentistry in 2021.

Outside of the office, Dr. Alwan enjoys spending his time with his wife, family, and friends. He also likes traveling, working out, and cooking.

Dr. Alwan is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and Tennessee Dental Association (TDA). He also volunteers periodically at Interfaith Dental Clinics.
